1) It’s soooo dirty! Wipe any dirt off with damp cloth and air dry. Do not throw your leather items in the washer and expect a good result.
2) Crap! My leather got wet! Pat your leather product off with towel and allow to air dry. Do not apply heat to aid in drying.
3) Dry leather should be conditioned with a product such as Lexol or Mink Oil. Follow instructions on whichever product you choose. Do not use dish soap, cooking oil, or hand lotion to clean/condition your leather. For real, just don’t.
4) Avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat. Do not store in plastic or metal containers. Keep dyed items separate from each other to avoid possible color bleed. Hats, masks, and bags should be stored with care. Utilize paper packing material to retain shape, not plastic or newsprint.
5) Leather is not food!!! Keep away from pets and tiny humans!
